Your favourite Amiga game music?

I never liked music that tried to sound 'real'. I hated guitars, pianos etc in music. For me, Jochen Hippel and Chris Huelsbeck did some AMAZING tunes with the former (Mad Max) making some miracles with the Atari ST. For the Atari ST I recommend everyone to search music from Frank Seemann (TAO) and Joe de Man (Scavenger). Best musicians on the planet. made the YM2149 sound like the best sound chip ever.

As for the question, some Amiga game music (impossible to remember everything):

-Lethal Xcess
-Wings of Death
-Enchanted Land
-Chambers of Shaolin
-Turrican I and II
-Apidya
-Pinball Dreams
-Hybris
-Battle Squadron
-Flashback and Another World. The music, when used (intros, cut scenes, ending) is phenomenal and make the game feel like a movie.

And the shock of listening for the first time the title music of Shadow of the Beast is imprinted in my memory of course.

I tend to think you're right, but there are some exceptions. I recently converted the music from Led Storm, level 1 and especially level 2 have awesome guitar music and some great hammond as well.

Well, I am playing the guitar myself and I always found those 'metal-ish' attempts a bit poor really. If the sound is created using the real 'thing', it sounds great. A very good example is this
