Re: The Movie Thread

Film: Gravity Format: Cinema (3D) Score: 7/10 Review: The trailer was damn impressive and I thought it'd be worth watching this on the big screen. Though while watching I felt the screen (which was a decent size) still wasn't large enough, I'd probably want an Imax-Dome (we used to have one in Berli...

Re: Snidey lobber - Real life KO2-goals

Here's a new goal I stumbled upon worthy of this thread, another Roberto Carlos/Alkis bye-line shot:

Re: GeoGuessr

I've done this before and it's just too weird being dropped off in the middle of nowhere instead of cities I might recognise. In each of these cases without moving from the spot or googling I can guess the country from the language, road signs, etc. More or less, like Thailand or Malaysia (but not I...

Re: KO2CV 1.12

On the second screen maybe add a bigger dot where the shot originated. And I hope it will include goals from 0.0 meters. I headed in a couple like that yesterday and of course they didn't show up.

Re: KO2CV 1.12

I think Steve is saying that passes are impossible to count in KO2. Though maybe we could count how many times each player touched the ball, that might be interesting, too, make a list at the end of the match. Steve? ;)

Re: KO2CV 1.12

My idea would look something like this: http://www.sininen.de/spm.png Your chart is of course more precise in that if I study it hard enough, I can see every shot exactly when it occurred in the game, while this is arbitrarily restricting it to shots per minute (and maybe, what in my chart are one s...

Re: KO2CV 1.12

I just tried this out. The second screen is truely great, you have really outdone yourself, Steve. In my test I managed a Simpson lob from 57.6 meters out, maybe a record for me. And it was great to see it represented afterwards. I have to admit, the first screen I found less useful. Maybe the graph...

I promise, it's still high up on my to do list. (Not necessarily with Rodolfo and certainly not as his boyfriend, needless to say. )

Re: Any Team, Any League, Anywhere! (The Club Footy Thread)

It's amazing that Dortmund, finishing even below Olympiakos last year in the CL group round, has reached this level (whereas Olympiakos... never mind). It's a mysterious disease which befell a number of Bundesliga clubs, except Bayern, playing well in the Bundesliga but finishing bottom of their CL...

Re: Any Team, Any League, Anywhere! (The Club Footy Thread)

Disgraceful, nobody posted in this thread since I did at the beginning of the season. Now that the seasons is drawing to a close, here's another summary. Hertha: Excellent season. Finished top of the second division again by a large margin, so it seems like the 2nd division is too small for us. The ...
