Re: I believe more and more in death penalty

All I can say is that I do not think that the death penalty should be classed as "murder". This would be because if the death penalty was legal in the state, it is therefore lawful and subsequently cannot, by definition, be determined as "murder". ~See above. It is not murder. ~...

Re: I believe more and more in death penalty

One side is trying to kill me and to destroy my world, that is right enough. Wich connects with the first quote: I (of course!) privilege my own liberty and my own existence in my own world. Even if you could convince me that in the war against terror we were the bad guys, I would still want to win...

Re: I believe more and more in death penalty

And other point to those championing GWB as some sort of hero in fighting Bin Laden; Why do people assume that one side must be right in a conflict? They're both cunts, obviously Bin Laden to a greater degree from our Western viewpoint, but to many from a Muslim perspective its the other way round. ...

Re: I believe more and more in death penalty

Easy, anyone who wants us dead is better dead. So by that logic, as you want some people dead, you are better off dead yourself. Tbh, from a sub jective point of view I agree with Rodolfo (and James Beard) that many of the people they use as example don't deserve life. But you both should learn to ...

Re: I believe more and more in death penalty

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/4471440.stm To all the armchair vigilantes, take a look at this story. Then ask yourself, in trying to come to terms with such a terrible thing happening, who do you think has succeeded better in dealing with it and moving on with their lives; (a) Mrs Wa...

Re: I believe more and more in death penalty

Just to add my two cents worth, broadly speaking I agree with what Robert is saying, and I don't really see any real inconsistencies with his arguments. Additionally... Comparing Steve and Rodolfo to the Taliban or to suicide bombers, however, is more extreme than their posts imo!!!! :) ...alt...

Re: Help! I need a new favorite writer

Depends what sort of thing you want to read Alkis, but I've got a couple of recommendations from stuff I've read myself recently which you may or may not have read already(I also get through a few books, but mainly cos of a 2-hour commute to work every day); Historical Novels: Just finished 'Julian'...

Re: Throw In 0.86 - DOWNLOAD

Oh, another couple of things I just remembered: 6) Player selection was a bit annoying at times, seems the full backs in particular have this problem. The circle may be underneath them, but it takes too long for the player to react and be under control. On one occasion at least, I checked the replay...

Re: Throw In 0.86 - DOWNLOAD

Not sure if I had 0.85 or 0.86 installed (uninstalled & updated to 0.86 yesterday), but played TI for quite a bit over the weekend, mainly against the CPU (before had played mainly against humans). First thought was I forgot how good the game is! AI is pretty decent, and if choosing a poorer sid...

Re: Will Liverpool make it?

Haha, what a fantastic diving header. Have to admit Liverpool deserved to win on the night, Cech kept us in it with a couple of good saves (although the ref was definitely biased towards the scousers, despite Drogba's theatrics). Certainly didn't see that equaliser coming. Its not over yet in any ca...

Re: Happy St.Georges Day

Did St.George ever actually set foot in England?

Anyway, I'm all for it being a bank holiday in the future (as long as we don't lose a day we already have)
