Re: Kick Off Revival full match gameplay

I haven't read anything in your review that I can argue with. As I understand it, the release date was not something that Dino had any control over, but I do agree that it needs work on it. But here's the thing... Those of us who have already bought the game should see this time as an opportunity to...

Re: Kick Off Revival full match gameplay

It does need some work, I can't deny that. I don't think there are any yellow or red cards, and the control is far more difficult for me, as I don't get on with gamepads, but I see the lack of cards as a good thing, as it allows us to learn the controls, without getting half the team sent off during...

Re: Kick Off Revival full match gameplay

The only advice I have is try before you decide... A I've stated many times, I don't like gamepads and no doubt, it's not as easy for me to control, but that doesn't make it a bad game.

Re: Kick Off Revival full match gameplay

Even after the little practice I've had I am noticing that I'm getting better at it. Not much though. I'm looking at too many people blaming lack of skill on a poor game. It's getting annoying. I'm not saying that improvements cannot be made. Even Dino says that there are bits he wants to change sli...

Re: Kick Off Revival full match gameplay

No problem, just trying to be fair and objective. I think it might help if I buy an analog stick... I've seen a couple which I'll investigate when I get some time.

Re: Kick Off Revival full match gameplay

I've bought it and I like it! The controls are going to take some getting used to, and I am going to try and find a joystick type solution, as I don't like gamepads, but it's not a bad game.

Re: Brexit

interesting times ahead! I voted for Brexit, basically to piss off Robert ;) Will other countries do the same? Let's wait and see. Steve...? Why would other countries vote Brexit just to piss off Robert? I'm willing to bet that most of them have never heard of him! Sorry, couldn't resist. OK, I cou...

Re: Manchester International 2016 - Gauging Interest

OK, I think the easiest thing to do is postpone this until early next year. The Milan tournament is all set and I am not going to do anything to detract from that so... Look out for Manchester 2017!

Re: Manchester International 2016 - Gauging Interest

Fair enough, Lee. Question to everyone. Would it be better, with the world cup a few months before and Christmas a few weeks after, to leave this until next year?

Re: Manchester International 2016 - Gauging Interest

OK, I've found a venue, in the centre of town, so it's easily accessible, and am looking at booking it for Saturday 10th December. At present we have five attendees and two maybes. I'm going to speak to the events manager at the venue tomorrow, and I'll give it another week or two before booking, so...

Re: Manchester International 2016 - Gauging Interest

There were 14 at the last one, in Hemel, but I'd need to get prices, as I'm conscious of the fact that the amount we pay is dependent on how many attend. We don't want to pay more than £20 so I'll do some pricing up and come up with a figure.

Re: Manchester International 2016 - Gauging Interest

Yeah, me too, but we do need more names to make this financially viable!
