I don't want to make loads of adapters myself - my medium is software, not hardware, and I just don't have the time right now ! But if you are going to attempt to make one yourself, I'll give out advice for free. (The adapter allows the joysticks to be used for any DirectX game, i.e. anything writte...

I've created some joystick adapters to allow me to use 'real' joysticks while playing uKO or KO2 on a pc via an emulator. Anyway, I knocked up a crappy website (with pictures!) to help anyone out who might want to do the same thing : http://www.camber.demon.co.uk/joy If you want any advice on making...

>There is a list under the first page of this topic, i keep updating it. Found it, and I'm top of the list, cool ! I'm a great fan of the soggy pitch, it leads to a much more intense game with fewer goal kicks/throw-ins. ..But I've switched to normal pitch just for the tourny. SteveC <IMG SRC="/kobo...

The winner will undoubtedly be the guy with most experience of playing on Amiga vs a variety of human opponents.

So, who is that ?

Sheffield to Dartford. 3 Hours of mad driving on the A1/M11/M25. Cool ! Should get the reflexes nicely tuned up in time for gaming.

As it says on the front page :

"There will be a special tournament page very soon! Stay tuned to KO2U."

I guess that's where all the official tournament info will appear, to make everything nice and clear to all players.

Yeah, of course I'm going to attend ! There has never been any doubt about it. I'm in the middle of moving house, and the wife is going to have our first baby soon, but I'm still training every day for that glorious weekend in November. SteveC ;

Yeah, standard teams are a must to keep things fair. I assume the scanner size we'll be using is the default one - I've always used the maximum scanner size (mainly due to the fuzzy TVs I used to play on), but I've been retraining to use the standard size. A tip for my Atari ST comrades : if you thi...

All this Amiga talk doesn't sound good for an Atari-head like me. I guess I'm just gonna have to get hold of an old Amiga and fine-tune my skills on that platform. Not fair ! (bah, whinge, grumble, grr) Still gonna kick some butt though ! SteveC ;

What's wrong with Soggy ? I find it makes the game more enjoyable as the ball stays in play. Dribbling is much more fun too !;
