I hope that's a sarcastic 'shocked' expression - I wouldn't want to build hopes up too high

Re: The Untouchable Backpass Bug

Could the untouchable backpass bug only apply to 2-player games? Yes! I was hoping you might have elaborated on that! In anycase I'll be back sooner or later with some more evidence... :) Sorry about the terse response but as far as I can see, it really is as black and white as: ⋅ A...

Re: The Untouchable Backpass Bug

Would you say that interception #1 is the exception that proves the rule ? Or is it a case where there was no target player as Alkis suggested ? Or maybe it was a kick as Steve thought even though I was meant to trap-pass it ? ...I'd say the 2nd or 3rd or your suggestions here. I've not tried any o...

Re: The Untouchable Backpass Bug

A pass to the keeper is untouchable. A pass to a *player* isn't. I've just had a quick look at the code and it appears to verify what Alkis says here. Basically, if the opponent's 'keeper has possession of the ball then all the active player is able to do is move - he can't slide, take possession o...

Re: Slide Tackle Logic Explained

But then yellow slips in front of blue, gets very close to the ball and gains possession so blue immediately slides. Sounds like the defender forces the attacker into making a mistake. Just another example of Dino's genius at programming the subtleties of the beautiful game. :) ...Pure Genius ...

Re: Final Whistle Competition Version - 0.0.3 Released 07-02-08

Speaking of throw-ins, does FW whistle suffer from the bug where throw-ins gets stolen and given to your opponent immediately after a substitution ? Or have any of the sub-bugs for that matter ? ...I don't usually use subs so haven't noticed any changes there. Out of the 'standard' KO2 bugs,...

Re: Slide Tackle Logic Explained

If you step through the frames you can see the button is pressed and for a couple of frames nothing occurs as blue has possession so does not slide and he is not close enough to the ball to trap either. But then yellow slips in front of blue, gets very close to the ball and gains possession so blue...

Re: KO2- KOA Graphics

...nice idea - but you'll have to find somebody who remembers last years winner. ummmm... Robert Stox or Marco Swift ring a bell but I can't be sure. Damn... and I thought I could fool newcomers! BTW, and totally o.t., I just bought "The Wind-up Bird Chronicle" based on your recomme...

Re: KO2- KOA Graphics

Just thought I'd post another pitch graphic suggestion.... Why not have a 'training pitch' with the 12 zones marked on it, just as in the Tactics Editor within PM ? Might provide a useful tool when looking at tactics and trying out new moves etc etc  What a fantastic idea!! After the London ...

Re: Slide Tackle Logic Explained

Really interesting! Just a question about these explanations: are there differences between KO2 and Final Whistle? Thank you! ...no difference - these mechanisms appear identical in both versions :) I've got two clips both showing efforts to trap the ball with an opponent nearby and in both example...
