omg it works pretty well, is this code is reinterpreted from the original KO2 assembly source code Steve ? Soon I will post a new demo with the ball, it is so funny to see it react as KO2 original, I tell you  Yes, it's practically a line by line translation of the 68000 original, converted to...

From KO2PC: void DrawBall(float x,float y,float z) { //8 balls getting bigger, then shadow int scrx=x; int scry=y; int shadx=scrx+(z/2); int shady=scry-(z/2); int ballframe=shadx-scrx; if (ballframe<4) { //low ball, sprite contained in shadow scry-=z/2; if ...

Question related to ball motion and logic I was able to add the ball to Open Kick Off, but I am trying to fit as close as possible to KO2 rendering. So, I would need some informations about how the ball is displayed. Steve Screech already gave me some inputs but I need more informations Here what St...

We believe in you Steve! :D

Before this Word Cup I had a look on the extra pitches because thefoxsoft asked me if it was possible to add Wembley pitch instead of normal pitch as official pitch of Rome 2007. I found the same problem, extra pitches are unloadable because they are saved in a new format, image and tilemap are sto...

That's interesting! :) So in KO2CV are the players movements solely dependent on the ball's position, and don't take into account whether the team is attacking or defending ? I could be wrong but I thought KO2CV's player movements did take account of whether I'm attacking or defending ? e.g the pos...

According to what is written in the final whistle manual http://www.ko-gathering.com/downloads/manuals/FinalWhistle.pdf On page 7 The tactics implementation has now been completely changed giving a totally game play. The old tactics positioned the players depending on the position of the ball. This ...

keep up the good work Oss. Btw may you make a smoother scrolling? In fact Yes it will be smoother, but this is just a trial to evaluate the Golden T Studios game library. I have already tested the OpenGl renderer which is attached to Golden T Studios library that give of course better results and a...

As far as I can tell, KO2 only uses the first 800 bytes, the rest seems to be ignored.. which is probably a good thing! The origin is the top left corner of the pitch during the game. As the tactics editor positions the pitch with a rotation of 90 degrees, that same origin would appear to be, as yo...
