Re: 12th KO2 World Cup Settings - Debate

Ahh, called chicken, must play.

Oh hang on, the rising to chicken bait didn't turn out well for Marty McFly, I think I'll pass.

Or more to the point, Bounty Got No Spare Weekends.

Re: 12th KO2 World Cup Settings - Debate

To say that gameplay is already altered so further changes are cool too is ridiculous in the extreme I actually agree here too! If you check I'm not saying one thing justifies the other. You might be reading words into my posts there? Not reading words in, just expressing thoughts. That's why I end...

Re: 12th KO2 World Cup Settings - Debate

I'd happily play again Mark, under the right circumstances   .

I was thinking about the world cup, as I do every year, but sadly even if the vote is favourable I haven't got any holiday time left this year, so couldn't travel anyway :(.

Re: 12th KO2 World Cup Settings - Debate

Garry, had you been around for tournaments in the days before PBD mix, there's no conceivable way you would ever bring it into a discussion about further gameplay changes. The fact is before PBD mix we were all forced to play a game we didn't grow up with. Tournaments were usually played with team A...

Re: 12th KO2 World Cup Settings - Debate

I've always felt that the bugs and quirks were part of what made KO2 such a classic. Who didn't crack up the first time their player ran down the other end of the pitch to take a corner? Who didn't instantly hit replay the first time they scored when the goalkeeper had run behind the line and throug...

Re: 12th KO2 World Cup Settings - Debate

Never gonna knock Steve for his work though, he's done a great job with all of the features. The problem was the JFF features being adopted as tournament staples. Nice one to avoid knocking Steve but then shoulder barging people who've used them in tournaments. Snidey stuff BountyBob. Not snidey, j...

Strange thing to bring into the conversation. A bait post?

Anyway, it seems you need to play FIFA more, then you may wish to edit your post!

Re: 12th KO2 World Cup Settings - Debate

I may be alone in this opinion but in retrospect I think introducing the trapfix and using it in tournaments was a big mistake. When Steve first managed to operate on the Kick Off 2 disk and alter the code, the very first thing we all agreed on was that we would not allow gameplay changes in offici...

Re: Your 2nd fave footy game?

Kick Off 2 is my number 2. FIFA is easily number one these days, it's a very good game.

Re: KO2CV geography

Interesting stuff and encouraging in many ways too, Steve. 8) Following Gianni's lead, we could play guess the KOA'er! Brum's obvious :D, as is Hampshire (Stainy/Bbob) , Cheshire (Durban), Dudley (Evil), Solihull (Ginger Pete) and Reading (Sid), and think I could suggest candidates for London. The ...
