Re: The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters (2007)

Yeah saw this on Netflix a while back and it's quality isnt it. Great film and especially for all us KO2 fans, a film that would strike a chord.

Re: Amiga on 42" screen?

A few years ago we did this at Si's and couldn't work out what the issue was originally but then realised there was a lag. It does work better on Plasma TV's but...another way around this is a simple lead from Amiga Kit - costs aboutu £15 I believe. I did a blog post on it here: https://pressfiretop...

Re: Trapfix consequences

Awesome post Dagh - will have a delve into all this and play games focussing on this issue. Either way, I'm looking forward to just playing the game in whatever the settings are. My knowledge of Trap Fix is circa 2010 and my limited knowledge is that SteveC fixed the issue with people holding down t...

Re: What is kickoffunited

I am a member of both forums but I only started posting when I noticed other more established members posting there with no issues. Also my post was about the trap fix and I didnt want to give members here a heart attack hehe. When I do host tournaments, I'm going to post on both forums though - inc...

Re: SAVE THE DATE - UK Championship May 14th, 2016

Yes, no words were taken out of context as I originally thought but the intention of my comments elsewhere were definitely misconstrued. I have no axe to grind with anyone and won't talk theoretically if I'm ever having a hard time. It's 2016, I don't give a shit about rules....it's much more ...

Re: World Cup Voting

Anyway, for me this isn't about trapfix. It is about whether it is ok to just through a rule change, against the will of many. ....but this is exactly what's happened for the past 2 years. Not sure if u r aware but theres a private forum on here for world cup organisers and all the answers are in t...

Re: World Cup Voting

I really like the professional attitude of the Birmingham bid and would love to go there but I share the feeling others have vented, that it's puzzling that the hosts dismiss a vote on the rules when other people are raising the issue. It's simple really. We hosted a world cup with a democratic vot...

Re: World Cup Voting

I would like to play with pitch walls. Can I have 50% of my games with pitch walls in Bham, please? Before we start asking silly questions, could you please address the valid things I've brought up? Namely why despite the 'tradition' for votes on rules...there's been no votes on rules for past 2 ye...

Re: World Cup 2016 - The Vote for Location

Hi Stephen, welcome back! I fully agree with the gist of Stephen's post: The Bham bid should reconsider their stance. There is a clear precedent for separating bids from rules, and there was a de facto constitutional rule in effect on this matter at the time of starting the vote. I hope that a comp...
