Re: Any Team, Any League, Anywhere! The Club Footy Thread 1

I can see us winning it in extra time. Looks like the final ticket sales are around 31,000 for Town and just under 15 for Posh, so hopefully we can make shitloads of noise and be the 12th man.

Re: What's the best song YOU'VE heard lately? (The Music Thr

Just heard the new Arctic Monkeys album, which is really good.

In terms of songs, I am loving this from the new Duran Duran album...

Re: Any Team, Any League, Anywhere! The Club Footy Thread 1

Got my ticket to the League 1 play off final. Looks like we will have more than double the number of fans there than Peterborough as we have already sold 28,000 of our 35,000, whereas they have only sold 13,000!

Re: Any Team, Any League, Anywhere! The Club Footy Thread 1

I am a huge footy fan and follow Liverpool (have done all my life so seen the good times of the 80s and the relatively bad that followed), but have also started to follow Huddersfield Town as they are just down the road. Been to quite a few games for both teams this season and am both pleased and gu...

A friend said roughly the same to me the other week, but she was talking about my shiny new iMac. Technology moves on but girls will never change!!!

Re: FTW II - Leicester I - 07/05/11 - RCM Open Day

Nice write up! Captured the spirit of the event and the tourney. It was great for us as we normally run Sensi compo's at any events we organise (though RCM wasn't one of ours, we do put on larger events around the country, with our flagship show being Replay Expo in Blackpool). We will definitely be...

Re: Kick Off vs Sensi Soccer

Tbh, I do really enjoy Sensi. Just not as much as KO. I played a lot of both at RCM and had great fun. I was actually surprised at how much I prefer Amiga Sensi to the Megadrive or SNES versions.

Kick Off vs Sensi Soccer

I have always been a a much bigger KO fan than Sensi and when I produced a magazine for last years Replay Expo I put a short aticle in there that attempted to explain why. If you are interested you can read it here... http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e226/darthgord/IMG_1109.jpg Or, you can watch th...

Re: FTW - Part II - 07/05/11 - Retro Computer Museum's Open

Yeah that last game was awesome! We couldn't replicate that today though and every game finished either 0-0 or 1-0, though we were playing on the standard Final Whistle version. Be great to get my hands on the competition version.

Re: Welcome to Newcomers, Old Timers and Everyone In Between

Hi folks. I met some of the guys at the Retro Computer Museum weekender yesterday and was crowned the Newcomer's Champion in the mini tournament they ran 8) Used to love KO2 back in the day, but haven't played it for years. Am putting that right now though and will be playing it a lot (if I can get ...

Really enjoyed the newcomers tournament. Got me back addicted to KO2. We played a lot of it today at RCM too :)
