Re: UK Championships 2024 Preston

Re: UK Championships 2024 Preston

Some of us still use Fixtures.exe, if that's what you're thinking of  Yeah, my baby :D I've been wanting to for ages, but as per usual, this year my travel-plans have been mostly set for quite a while, so I can't see any actual chance of me attending this year, not matter how tempted I am. May...

Re: UK Championships 2024 Preston

Do it Freshy. You can probably get there quicker than me, that's a 4 hour drive! So probably out of range for me. Do we still use that same shitty software, or have we modernised?

Re: Korona-thread

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi to you all and I hope you are all keeping well in these trying times. Managed to get some loo roll today, so I think I'm now immune to Coronavirus. I'm pretty sure that loo roll must possess magical properties. Why else would people be panic buying it? Mental.

Who?! I'm out of the loop.

Congratulations Thor, whoever you are! Definitely a worthy champion though, overcoming both Dagh and Gianni is no small feat.

Re: Trapfix consequences

It's very interesting to see that Dino has said that the unintended slide isn't actually a bug. This always felt more like a bug than the auto-slides, which clearly aren't a bug even though some players don't like them.

Re: 2015 rules

After spotting that issue in Dublin I have already reprogrammed the apt menu to automate the "if both players agree" rule. If they don't agree on an option then the default is selected for both players (currently ON for autofix and OFF for trapfix). This avoids any confusion or misunderst...

Re: World Cup 2016 - The Vote for Location

I hope an acknowledgement that the above is incorrect for the last 2 world cups. No vote on rules for past 2 events. Isn't that because there was nothing to vote on? Wasn't trap fix voted against in world cups prior to those? As far as I can tell, if a rule has been voted on it's not normal for it ...
